Whether you have a residential or commercial heating and cooling system, it is very important to have your condenser and evaporator coils cleaned. Your system will run a lot more efficiently. As dirt and grime builds up on the coils, their ability to absorb and radiate heat declines and the performance of the air conditioner suffers. If your coils get too clogged up, your system can quit working all together. You can sign up for Indian Air’s Energy Savings Plan (ESP) and as part of your semi-annual scheduled maintenances we will check to see if your coils are dirty.
Here are some examples of an extremely dirty coil. This is a rack at a valley restuarant. They were so badly clogged that the freezers and coolers weren’t working at all.
