This is the 7th year that Pennies has taken place in Arizona, Utah and Southern Nevada; and we are thrilled to continue this important initiative — an ambitious undertaking that would not be possible without the participation and enthusiasm of teachers, students and parents across the state and across the country!
There are currently 957,902 people in the United States living with or in remission from leukemia, Hodgkin lymphoma, non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma or myeloma. Every school day 65 children are diagnosed with a blood cancer, and leukemia is the number one cause of cancer deaths in children and young adults under the age of twenty.
We need your help to fund research to find a cure and to provide services to patients and their families in local communities.
