Are Heating and Cooling Systems Safe for the Environment?

Heating and Cooling Systems must abide by the EPA (Environemental Protection Agency) regulations.

Refrigerant (such as Freon, Puron, R12, R410A, and R22) are constantly regulated and improved.  Many types of refrigerant is outdated now, or can be harmful to the environment.  That is why, if your system has a leak, Indian Air must do a leak check to find the leak and repair it instead of just adding freon.

Trane and many other manufacturers are working hard to design eco-friendly systems and there are now a lot of green choices out there.
