Arizona- It’s a Dry Heat!

Because of Arizona’s dry heat, a whole house humidifier may be helpful in achieving comfort.  Indian Air offers several options for humidifiers that can be hooked right into your air conditioning system.

For total comfort, temperature is not the only thing to consider.  Moisture also should be considered.  Think of babies.  Many parents run a humidifier nightly in babies’ rooms.  Why not run a humidifier in your whole house to make sure everyone has the optimal level of comfort?

Humidifiers also help improve your indoor air quality.  This is because the added moisture in the air makes it harder for air born particles to move around.

Here are some added benefits of Trane humidifiers:

  • Helps alleviate dry conditions which may aggravate asthma and allergy symptoms
  • Reduces static electricity in carpets
  • Helps avoid damage from dry air to your furniture, woodwork, paintings and musical instruments
  • Reduces shrinkage of wood floors and woodwork
  • Cold winter air feels warmer at lower temperature levels
  • Eliminates need for portable appliances

Thinking of retiring in Prescott but dry air is not my thing. Is it common for homes to have whole house humidifiers and how much does one cost to buy and install.

I dry up when I visit family in Albuquerque so this is a real issue for me when considering a permanent retirement home
