Time Delay

Most thermostats have a time delay of 2 to 5 minutes.  This means that every time you touch a button on your thermostat, you may have to wait 2 to 5 minutes before the new setting goes into effect.  Keep this in mind when you think your system is not working and you keep pushing buttons.  Just be patient and give your system some time to go into effect.  Pushing buttons just adds to the wait time.
